I’m Travis Swiers. I live in Colorado Springs, where I code and train.

I’ve always been drawn to both technology and adventure. By day I’m a developer who loves digging into tough problems and building things that make a difference. By night (and most weekends) you’ll usually find me chasing trails, exploring new places, or figuring out what’s possible on two wheels.

Cycling is my biggest passion outside of work. I train and race enduro, XC, and gravel, with enduro taking center stage. Racing has a way of teaching persistence and creativity—it’s, in many ways, an unsolvable problem where you can still make steady, measurable progress. The lessons I learn on the bike often echo back into how I approach challenges in life and work.

Colorado Springs makes a pretty great home base for all this. The mountains, trails, and open spaces are right at my doorstep, and I spend most weekends outside—riding, training, or adventuring with friends. I like to think of it as a lifestyle that blends curiosity, motion, and the satisfaction of pushing limits.

Adventure hasn’t just stayed local, though. My work has taken me abroad to places like Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, and Thailand. Those trips gave me a chance to explore new cultures and see the world from fresh perspectives. Whether it’s halfway around the globe or just up in the mountains, I’m happiest when I’m learning, exploring, and taking on something new.
